Product Executive & Project Lead

Ayodya Wanniarachchi

Product and project lead building automation that gives teams their time back.

Five years across automation and product delivery. Three systems live, plus an app release cycle I lead end to end.

Measurable impact

Three systems. One number that matters.

0
working hours reclaimed every year, across the portfolio
0
live systems, designed and owned end to end, in daily use
0%
of manual sheet updates removed on the flagship system
0
years across product, delivery and process design

That is roughly five and a half months of full time work, returned to the organisation each year.

The profile

A product and project lead who thinks in systems.

I have spent five years delivering end to end digital products, managing agile backlogs, and turning operational problems into software that quietly does the work. I work across the full product lifecycle, from roadmap and sprint planning through UAT to live deployment.

At Medics.Academy, as Product Executive and Project Lead, I lead app releases from sprint planning and backlog prioritisation through UAT, TestFlight beta, and live deployment, writing the specifications, release notes, and test scripts that keep each rollout clean. I work alongside a remote engineering team, coordinating directly with engineers to resolve issues before they reach production.

I run end to end QA across the Medics.Academy app and its internal and external Programme Admin Dashboards, write product specifications and mockups for new features, and both contribute to and lead story acceptance after testing. I translate operational needs into clear specifications and data informed roadmap decisions using Tableau and Google Looker.

Every decision gets a user lens and a business lens, because product choices are commercial choices.

CCT Calculator

Contract product for the Yorkshire & Humber NHS Deanery · live, external users

A live, externally deployed product built under contract for the Yorkshire and Humber UK Deanery, one of the largest in the country. The CCT Calculator generates FY1 and FY2 medical training rotation progression outputs through internal and external dashboards used in a real clinical training context, where accurate outputs are non negotiable.
